Does anyone even know what a crock pot, a relic of the 70s and 80s, is anymore? Well, both Orange County and the University of Florida IFAS Extension want to bring it back hard with a class called "Crock Pot Cooking" on Tuesday April 17, 2012 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Orange County Extension Center Rose Room (6021 S. Conway Rd., Orlando, FL).
About: "The last think you want to do when you get home from work is to start cooking a time consuming meal. Many of our quick and easy foods are less nutritious and more costly. Solve this problem by using your crock pot to create healthy meals that are ready to eat when you get home. For further information call Ruth Howard at 407-254-9218." Make sure to pre-registrer, each class costs $10 and you can register online.
