On Monday, March 26, 2012 at 2pm, Macy’s at Mall at Millenia (4298 Millenia Blvd., Orlando, FL 32839) welcomes lifestyle expert Martha Stewart for the ultimate chili cook-off.
Four of Orlando’s finest Fire Stations will compete for the “Best Chili in Orlando” title. Martha will judge each station’s recipe and choose the winner based on the following criteria: taste, consistency, aroma, color and bite. The participating Fire Stations include: Firehouse 11 – Beast of the East Chili with head chef Firefighter Chris McKeon; Firehouse 12 – Tailgate Chili with head chef Lt. Blaine Spurling; Firehouse 3 – Rodney’s Chili with head chef Firefighter Bradley Shanks; and Firehouse 1 – Big House Chili with head chef Engineer Pat Kelly.
During the competition, Martha will share her own cooking secrets and highlight her Martha Stewart Collection Enameled Cast Iron Cookware line. From prep to presentation, these beautiful pieces masterfully provide even heating for moisture-rich meals. Each Fire Station will be stirring up their own chili recipes in the cookware line.
Don’t miss out on the chance to sample Martha’s favorite chili and cornbread while she judges the competition. In addition, receive an autographed recipe card with any $75 Martha Stewart Cookware purchase in the Home department on event day.*
