East Morse Boulevard Improvement Project by City of Winter Park

As part of the East Morse Boulevard Improvement Project by the City of Winter Park (Website, Facebook, Twitter), construction on the stormwater treatment phase to eliminate pollutants from entering Lake Osceola will begin Monday, April 9, 2012. Weather permitting, this phase of the project is expected to be complete by Saturday, April 28, 2012.

During construction, which will include deep excavation and a large crane operation, the city of Winter Park will accommodate vehicle access to the Whispering Waters east parking garage, limited parking at the end of East Morse Boulevard, and access to the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour. The attached map shows where the construction will take place and how parking will be impacted in the area.

To complete the improvement project, installation of decorative street lights, new landscaping and asphalt resurfacing will be scheduled following the completion of the stormwater treatment system construction.
