The Cornell Fine Arts Museum, in collaboration with the Department of Art and Art History at Rollins College, is opening Menagerie, an exhibition to debut the work of eleven senior art majors from the Class of 2012, on Friday, April 20th from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. Free and open to the public.

Briana Angelo, Rachel Birkentall, Nattakun Charoenkul, Clark Hall, Leandra Lima, Senny Luu, Anne Patrick, Samantha Rosen, Grigorios Sarantis, Sarah Ann Showell, and Natascha Vazquez are the senior art students presenting in the show. Menagerie is the culmination of their artistic efforts and accomplishments over the past four years. The exhibition includes a variation of mediums such as: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and digital art. These students have also worked together to design the invitation and promote the opening of their show as emerging artists in the community.

The exhibition was juried by Rollins College Professors Joshua Almond, Dana Hargrove, Dawn Roe, and Rachel Simmons, and by Dr. Jonathan F. Walz, Curator and Interim Director of the Cornell Fine Arts Museum.  The jurors’ selections exemplify the students’ talents, technical prowess, and ingenuity.
