Oregon Freeze Dry (Facebook, Twitter, Website) has a new line of free dried fruit called ZipFruit packaged under the brand Zip-Kitchen. The toddler version debuts August 2012.
According to their website, "The Food Division of Oregon Freeze Dry is the largest diversified food freeze dryer in the world." It has over 32,000 sq. ft of freeze drying surface at their campus in Oregon doing freeze drying technology for fruit among other things.
The packaging is modern and really stands out on store shelves. Simply choosing white as its main color differentiates it visually from the rest of the products nearby.
Inside the Strawberry Banana bag (there's also a Fuji Apple flavor) is 0.42 ounces of bananas and strawberries, equivalent to half a banana and 4 strawberries.
You can use it to top yogurt, cereal, smoothies, or just eat it as-is. No sugar is added, but its still very sweet.
