Vadim Fedotov’s unique interpretation of the classic ballet Coppelia is a sentimental comic ballet that premiered in 1870 at the Theatre Imperial de l’Opera in Paris, France. Young Franz falls in love with a beautiful lady reading by a window, which upsets his fiancee, Swanhilda. Determined to fight for her love, Swanhilda visits the mysterious house of the stranger lady to find out that the object of her fiancee’s love is only a doll, created and deeply treasured by the mad Doctor Coppelius. The ballet conveys the story of love and forgiveness with the precision of Fedotov’s choreography and is a great entertainment for the entire family.
