The Winter Park Playhouse (711 Orange Avenue, Suite C Winter Park, FL 32789.) is doing the musical BABY April 20-May 12, 2012. The musical follows the stories of three couples in different stages of life as they experience the funny, rewarding, agonizing and sometimes poignant consequences of pregnancy and parenthood.
Performances are Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm, select Sundays (4/29 and 5/6) at 2:00 pm, and Thursday (5/10) at 2:00 pm. Directed by Roy Alan, the class includes Heather Alexander, Natalie Cordone, Shawn Kilgore, Bryan Minyard, Kathryn Nash, Candace Neal, Timothy Pappas, Sage Starkey and Kate Zaloumes. The band will include Musical Director Christopher Leavy on piano, Ned Wilkinson and Kevin Kelly on keyboard, and Sam Forrest on drums.
As part of an ongoing "Show and Save" collaboration with local restaurants, the Playhouse will partner with Armando's Italian Restaurant on New England Avenue in Winter Park. Present your BABY ticket stub to receive your choice of either a complimentary glass of house wine or a dessert with the purchase of an entree.
