Folks who make $75,000/year, referred to by Dollar General Store as "trade down shoppers" LOVE the store's
consumables: food, beauty/pet/cleaning supplies, and housewares. These things made up 73% of sales in 2011. Dollar General is
now planning to go after them harder with more offerings.
