About Dress For Success of Greater Orlando
DFSGO is an entirely volunteer-run 501 (3)(c ) organization with aggressive growth goals: 1) to achieve financial stability to protect our ability to operate and serve the Greater Orlando community and 2) to secure the necessary resources to provide career development programming through the Professional Women’s Group.

DFSGO was created to fill a critical need for interview appropriate clothing for low-income women entering the workforce. We help solve the dilemma: Without a job, how can I afford a suit? Without a suit, how can I get the job?

Since we first opened our doors in May 2001, we’ve grown to serve 800-1,000 women annually in Central Florida.

Our boutique, located in Winter Park, is designed to help women shop for their clothing in an atmosphere of support and encouragement, helping to build their self-esteem

Once a woman secures a job, she participates in a “second suiting,” an opportunity to secure a week’s worth of business-appropriate separates, along with an invitation to join the Professional Woman’s Group for career development.

We serve women throughout Central Florida in 7 counties; more than 70% are single mothers, raising an average of 2-3 children. 100% live under the poverty level prior to coming to DFSGO.

Women are referred to us by a diverse group of non-profit, member agencies that include homeless and domestic violence shelters, substance abuse recovery facilities and job training programs. No fees are charged to either the clients or the member agencies that utilize our services.
