Banana Hammock Republic is a local business that makes "tactical hammocks" that can be easily stored, and strung up anywhere, and we mean anywhere (check out that link to see what we mean). They entered a contest on GOOD.is to win $500 to fund an idea to help the homeless. If BHR wins, they will use the money to sew 100 hammocks to gift to people living on the streets.
