On Sunday, September 16, 2012, 12pm-7pm, all six Columbia Restaurant locations will roll back their prices for their annual "1905 Day” to celebrate the 107th anniversary of Florida’s oldest restaurant, owned and operated by fourth and fifth generation founding family members. Guests can expect to enjoy the restaurant's Spanish cuisine for the prices they might have paid in 1905. On this day only, reservations are not accepted, and take-out items are not available.

The original Columbia Restaurant was founded in Tampa’s Historic Ybor City in 1905 by Cuban immigrant Casimiro Hernandez, Sr. It began as a 60-seat corner cafĂ© known for its Cuban coffee and authentic Cuban sandwiches, frequented by the local cigar workers.
