Swap and Shop Fall 2012 | This Time Its About the Kids (Clothes)

The next Swap & Shop Clothing Party put on by Other Peoples Property is September 21, 2012, 6-8:30pm at 1300 Brookhaven Drive, Orlando, Florida 32804. Admission is $7 if you drop your items off (sorted into categories w/ your name on it) at: before the September 20th at CREDO Coffeehouse (706 W. Smith Street, Orlando, FL 32804) or $12 if you bring your items the night of the event.

According to the U.S. EPA Office of Solid Waste, Americans throw away more than 68 pounds of clothing and textiles per person per year. Other Peoples Property Swap & Shop Clothing Parties are trying to help reduce that number by helping folks keep their clothes in circulation longer and out of landfills.

Homemade cupcakes will be for sale 6-7pm during registration. Then the swap runs 7pm-8:30pm.
New: kids clothing. Married Moms, single Moms, Lesbian Moms, straight Moms, Moms with pigtails, Moms with Moms... and Dads dammit.. the organizers want kids clothes. Go through your kids closet and give it the heave ho, ho.
The organizers already have mountains of clothes, shoes, and jewelry. So this swap should be epic, probably the largest in the universe. Ever.

This is how it ALL goes down:

First Part is a Clothing Swap. Bring all your clothing, shoes, jewelry, etc that have been your closet forever that you just don't wear anymore, have grown out of, or was just never right for you to begin with and we will swap! Bring your old stuff. Bring home some new stuff. GENTLEMEN: participate, dammit.
Second part of the Party is shopping Other Peoples Property. Get yourself loaded with the Best in Vintage. We will have an extensive collection of vintage clothing, shoes, jewelry, bags and much more. This is your chance to get some fantastic and one of a kind vintage pieces! We collect the best Vintage around for your shopping pleasure and have also added a lot of amazing vintage jewelry.
