Avalon Park Gets a Visit From The Food Truck Bazaar Tonight Sep 30 2012


The Food Truck Bazaar Goes to Avalon Park: 
The Food Truck Bazaar (About, Twitter, Facebook) is driving to Avalon Park TONIGHT, Sep 30, 2012, to set up almost 30 of Orlando's top food trucks and feed a bunch of Avalon Park folks 6-9pm in the lovely grassy park with the bandstand at the corner of Avalon Park E. Blvd and Hop Tree Lane. 

Tonight's Trucks:

C&S Brisket Bus, Melissa's Chicken & Waffles, Tastebuds, Pupusas, Treehouse, La Empanada, Mamma's Fixins, Twisted Cuban, Saigon Sizzle, Korean BBQ Taco Box, Monsta Lobsta, The Crepe Company, Firehouse BBQ, Big Wheel Provisions, Cafe Rouge, 5Gastronomy, Fork in the Road, SwedeDish, Bem Bom, Darland Bakery, Sunset Italian Ice, The Batter Bowl, The Yum Yum Cupcake Truck, Beard Poppa, Cafe Cocoa Mo, Pop Craft, Sit and Stay Pet Cafe. 


The lovely grassy park in Avalon Park with the bandstand at the corner of Avalon Park E. Blvd and Hop Tree Lane. Street parking is everywhere. The lines form in the large green lots and seating is in the park. 

About: 
The Food Truck Bazaar (AboutTwitterFacebook) is a large-scale traveling food truck event that travels from city to city in Central Florida each month bringing with it a nighttime foodie heaven for three hours each stop. On average, it goes to 12+ towns per month. Its the original food truck event in Central Florida and was created by TheDailyCity.com! Born March 2011, The Food Truck Bazaar has been produced 70+ times in over fifteen Central Florida towns, at three universities and at one theme park. 

What to Do: 
1. Think tailgating: bring your own chairs + tables + tents 
2. There will be 10-25 trucks (except in Longwood which has five).
3. $6-$10 per meal.
3. Expect long lines. 
4. Some trucks will run out of food. 
5. Expect loud generators on most trucks.
6. Most trucks take credit cards.
