I am excited to announce that Ad 2 Orlando asked me to speak at their monthly speaker event on September 27, 2012. 

Ad 2 Orlando is the Orlando chapter of the young professional division of the American Advertising Federation. The Ad 2 national program is 40,000 strong, full of graphic designers, account executives, media specialists, PR professionals, artists, writers, conceptual-thinkers. Everyone in it is 18-32. Ad 2 Orlando is made up of passionate individuals in Central Florida who want to further their career while having fun and meeting new people.

Mark Baratelli (About | Facebook | Email) Named by the Orlando Business Journal as a 2012 "40 Under 40" award recipient, the Orlando Weekly said "If everyone in Orlando who claims to care about the arts had 1 percent of (Mark) Baratelli’s energy and commitment, this city would be a world culture capital." That same newspaper named him 2012 Best Local Advocate, 2011 Best Local Advocate and 2010 Best Arts Advocate. Mark created TheDailyCity.com, Orlando Improv Festival, Audience Choice Awards and Mobile Art Show. His most well known event, The Food Truck Bazaar, Central Florida's first ever gourmet food truck event, won 2012 Best Local Food Event from Edible Orlando Magazine (2nd), received a 2012 BizBash Best Event Producer of the year nomination and earned him the title of "The Pied Piper of Food Trucks" from the Orlando Business Journal.

Rollins College & United Arts put together a panel including the President of WMFE, a Reporter from Channel 13, the Editor of the Orlando Weekly and PR profesional Sarah Brady.  The goal was to share with the audience of over 100 non-profit PR professionals ways to get their stories and pitches heard by media.
