The Traveling One Show | Advertising Worth Paying Money to See

Advertising. We disengage from it on our drives home from vandalism, skip it during our DVR'd shows with new casts people despise and give it the finger flip it in magazines we stole from Trader Joes in Naples, Sarasota and Gainesville (never Orlando).

But some advertising is so freaking outstanding that its worth paying money to see. That advertising will be in The Traveling One Show, a special screening and gallery exhibition of the year’s best in creative advertising from across the globe, which is coming to Orlando for the very first time thanks to MPAdvertising.com, AIGA Orlando, The One Club, OrangeStudio4rent.comPUSHFry|Hammond|Bar and Anson•Stoner

The Traveling One Show will visit Orlando on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Orange Studio / Say It Loud! (1121 N. Mills Ave., Orlando, FL 32803) at 6pm. Admission is $10 for One Club and AIGA members, $5 for student members, $10 for student non-members, or $20 for non-members.

The Traveling One Show features winning television and video work from the 2012 One Show, which was held this past May in New York City, and a gallery showing of Outdoor, Public Service, Newspaper and Magazine advertising, Corporate Identity, Branding and 3-D samples of Package, Publication, Collateral and Spatial Design. The evening also will feature presentations from One Show award-winner Bob Meagher, Senior Vice President and Senior Copywriter at The Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia (and one of the creators of the GEICO campaign), and Yash Egami, Editor-in-Chief of The One Club and one. a magazine.
