Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Design Not Optimal For Daily Switch From Quick to Full Service

A few weeks ago we covered the beautiful new Be Our Guest restaurant found within Magic Kingdom's New Fantasyland.  While the decor has been a huge hit Epcyclopedia is reporting that the new restaurant is plagued with back of house problems.  The problems seem to be caused due to the last minute change of plans for the restaurant, shifting back and forth between quick and full service, before the current fusion between the two.  This undecided aspect though means that the restaurant was designed and built before the final decision and now the kitchen is much smaller than needed.  Epcyclopedia states that Disney is having employees work late trying to find workarounds in the poorly designed kitchen and that one of the issues is lack of space to store hot food.  This poor design is causing major chaos and poor service throughout the restaurant.  

The good news is that the restaurant is still in soft opening, with the official opening on Dec 6th, and there are some indication that a remodel or expansion are already in the works.
