Nothing says the Holiday season is upon us like the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony. This year's tree is from Sugar Mountain Nursery in North Carolina. It will arrive November 16th at 9AM.

The dedication will be Friday, November 30th and will be broadcast live on WKMG 6 as a part of the annual Holiday Lights Orlando celebration.

Along with the tree lighting a musical stage production, THE GIFT by Trinity Lutheran Downtown, will feature massed choirs performing familiar Christmas music arranged by Derric Johnson, Conductor Emeritus of the Disney Candlelight Procession, who will conduct the music on stage. The musical will end with a special candlelight version of "Silent Night."

After the musical the modern holiday classic ELF will be screened at the Colorful holiday lights will fill the park around Lake Eola.

The Gifts 'n Goodies Shopping Village will feature The Food Truck Bazaar along with a shopping area that will feature hand-made decorative items from mission churches in Central Africa and Israel, as well as unique jewelry, candles and various other holiday items plus homemade Christmas treats for both gift-giving and immediate enjoyment.
