The REP Orlando has Junior Claus as This Year's Holiday Musical

 By Ken Storey

One of the traditions in my family is each holiday season all of us get together and go to a live theatre event, as a family (trust me family is much more enjoyable when no one can talk).  The REP is offering a great option for families with the family holiday favorite Junior Claus.

In this holiday musical, Santa’s only son, Junior, must save the day when a depleted Christmas "belief-o-meter" and lack of Christmas spirit put the jolly man in a deep slumber. Now, Junior must quickly master the art of climbing down chimneys, driving reindeer, reading GPS in a blizzard, and everything else that goes into the greatest delivery in the world.  With the help of an elf friend, a homesick penguin, and a youngster who believes fully in the Christmas spirit, Junior may save Christmas just in time in this joyful new musical.

  • Backstage Tours: December 1 and 22 following the 5:30pm performances of Junior Claus for an additional $5 per person.
  • American Sign Language Performance: December 15 at 2pm. Assisted listening devices are available for all shows.

In celebration of The REP’s 10th Birthday season, there is an Opening Saturday Ticket Special. When patrons purchase one adult ticket, they receive one child’s ticket, FREE. This offer is only valid at the 2:00pm or 5:30pm performance on Saturday, November 17, 2012.
