Overture Miami is one of the satellite shows during Miami's Art Week. Presented by Arts for a Better World is shared one end of the same tent that hosted Art Asia and Scope. Overture, now in it's third year, is an international platform used to showcase the latest in art trends from around the world. The show featured over 100 Warhol pieces along with showing off some of the current art trends. Some of the trends we spotted where contemporary retakes on mid-century pieces and the use of pop icons in new ways, with a particular focus on Disney characters. There seem to be a lot of focus on Mickey Mouse and action heroes featured at the show. Here are some of the examples that we liked:
