Dickens By Candlelight: A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol is  a timeless classic that only seems to get better with age. We all know the story of Scrooge and the ghosts, and it has enlightened and terrified us at some point in our lives. The reason A Christmas Carol endures is credited to the many interpretations and adaptations of the story, and from December 15th to December 23rd, 2012, RS and C Productions presents their adaptation of Charles Dickens' timeless classic.

Since 1997, RS and C has presented A Christmas Carol at the Dr. Phillips Center on Lake Ivanhoe. The show consists of 3 actors playing all 36 characters from the story, which (if you know anything about acting) is an astonishing feat. The Dr. Phillips Center, which also serves as the home for the Orlando Ballet, creates a terrific atmosphere for the show, and is able to transport the audience back to Victorian England.
