Ugly Sweaters And Art Coming To Church Street

Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 6PM-9PM is the Downtown Arts District Third Thursday Gallery Hop and Art Walk.  For the walk on the 20th Church Street District will be joining forces and hosted a number of galleries including a special pop-up gallery in the 55West Courtyard and within the historic Church Street Depot (just across the tracks for the recently opened Eternal Tap lounge).  The pop-up gallery will feature 6 local artist.  Other galleries include Jai Gallery and Brett J. Donnelly Gallery both within the Church Street Exchange building.  There will also be a 'walk through' gallery in the 55 West breezeway. 

Art Walk participants are encouraged to wear a crazy Christmas Sweater to and stop by the 55 West Pop-Up Gallery to enter the contest.  Voting will take place through Dec. 31 on the Church Street District Facebook page.  Winner of the Crazy Christmas Sweater contest will win a Christmas Stocking prize package worth over $1100 including; tickets to Mad Cow Theater, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents BUILT TO AMAZE at the Amway Center, hotel stays at the Embassy Suites Downtown Orlando and the Sheraton Downtown Orlando with a VIP Suite and Brunch, and a $250 Happy Hour party at Chillers.
