4th Annual Special Olympics Florida Polar Plunge Coming Back to Aquatica

Now in its fourth year the annual Special Olympics Florida Polar Plunge takes place on Saturday, February 3, at Aquatica across from SeaWorld on I-Drive. Sure it's warm here right now but that doesn't mean it will be on the 3rd and even if it is this still is a fun way to help a group whose need is ever present. Interested 'plungers' can go as an individual or as a team. Anyone who raises $100 minimum is able to take the plunge. For just $100 in pledges – the cost to Plunge – Plungers automatically get entry into Aquatica, an All-Day Food Pass, the official Polar Plunge® T-shirt, and two spectator passes. Registration is at 9:30am with the plunge itself taking place at 11am. Those who participate in the plunge are able to take in the rest of the day at Aquatica, luckily all the other pools are heated (though this is Florida so there's a good chance it won't be needed)

Check out this video below of the 2011 plunge below.
