On February 2 2013, the development of Harmony does their tenth year showing visitors the benefit of a nighttime sky free from artificial light at their 10th Annual Dark Sky Festival. The purpose is to expose folks to astronomy and to the importance of protecting dark skies. The benefit of dark skies is not just for astronomy bu for area wildlife.

This event is free and runs 5pm - 10pm.
- Amateur astronomers from around the state set up their telescopes and invite guests to view the skies. The astronomers welcome any questions and are always more than willing to share their knowledge of the night skies.
- Speakers from NASA, Seminole State College Planetarium, International Dark Sky Association, and more
- Two mobile planetariums with on-going presentations & NASA Exhibit Display
- Over 50 telescopes for public viewing of a wide variety of planets and galaxies
- A variety of kids activities including Mad Science, demos from a variety of high school robotics clubs, Kids Zone (including a Ferris Wheel, Caterpillar Ride, Gyroscope, and more)
