78th Annual Bach Festival Kicks Off in Winter Park

The 78th Annual Bach Festival kicks off February 15th, 2013 and runs till March 3, 2013. Over the two week the Bach Festival Society will put on six concerts will be put on and will feature works that the Society has never before performed; including J.S. Bach’s Mass in G; Cantatas 52 and 119; the Sinfonia from Cantata 31, and Beethoven’s Mass in C Major.

Mr. Barrymore Laurence Scherer, a classical music and fine art critic for The Wall Street Journal and author of the award-winning book A History of American Classical Music, will be this year's special guest.
