Redlight Redlight Celebrates End of Prohibition in Hobo Fashion

UPDATE: Redlight Redlight has now stated that there will be no live entertainment on April 7.

Sunday, April 7, 2013 will be the 80th Anniversary of the end of Probation (April 7, 1933).  The day, known as New Beer’s Day, is a day of celebrating freedom we now take for granted.  Local beer mecca RedlightRedlight is planning a special evening to celebrate the holiday beginning at 9p.  Miss Laney Jones and Against the Grain will be provided live entertainment with their country/folk/bluegrass/blues/jazz/hobo sound.  The group was a hit at the 2011 Orlando Fringe Festival with their hobo celebration “onomatopoeia” that is returning to this year’s Fringe remounted and re-imagined.

The New Beer’s Day event will also include what is being billed as the Fantastical Wheel of Hobo Delights.
