Sunday, April 7, 2013 will be the 80th
Anniversary of the end of Probation (April 7, 1933). The
day, known as New Beer’s Day, is a day of celebrating freedom we now take for
granted. Local beer mecca RedlightRedlight is planning a special evening to celebrate the holiday beginning at 9p. Miss Laney Jones and Against the Grain will
be provided live entertainment with their
country/folk/bluegrass/blues/jazz/hobo sound.
The group was a hit at the 2011 Orlando Fringe Festival with their hobo
celebration “onomatopoeia” that is returning to this year’s Fringe remounted
and re-imagined.
The New Beer’s Day event will also include what is being
billed as the Fantastical Wheel of Hobo Delights.
