Universal Studios Orlando has officially announced the dates for Halloween Horror Nights 2013. Now in its 23 year the after hours event is by far one of the most popular ticketed events of the year for Universal. Halloween Horror Nights has been ranked the 'Best Halloween Event' in the nation six times since 2006. Within the announcement via facebook Universal stated "All is being finalized for Halloween Horror Nights 23 and it will be unlike any other year." All new houses are mentioned on the HHN's website. Few other details have yet to be shared.
Typically Universal shares details via hints and 'easter eggs' found throughout popular social media sites. Attractions blog BehindTheThrills first reported in January that a former HHN brand has began updating their facebook once again with new details that could be possible clues for this years event. Another rumor, built from one of last years rumors, states that An American Werewolf in London may be one of the themes for this years event (remember the Harry Potter London area will still be under construction this fall but the facades should be finishing up by that point). Other rumors include a return of 'The Walking Dead,' Havoc, Cabin in the Woods, and one based around the legend of the Chubacabra.
