Hash House a Go Go in Orlando on I-Drive Serves Biiiiiig Portions atFair Prices

Hash House a Go Go (5350 International Drive, Orlando, Florida) has large attractively plated dishes served in a dismal dark interior. It's like a TGI Fridays interior meets Bananas menu. And the prices are around Bananas prices. However, I can see locals having a fabulous time here for birthdays and special events, as the potions are comically huge.

The interior is not as dark as this photo shows, but it's close. And except for the metal containers of dead wheat, the interior is boring.

Your bowl of too-big biscuits are served with butter and peach preserves. The biscuit is already lathered in a honey glaze.

Looks healthy, right? Nope. Those beans and carrots were bathed in oil. The fish tasted delicious but I have a sneaking suspicion it is neither fresh or caught in the last month.

This photo does NOT do their pancake justice. It's insanely huge. It's like if a Denny's cook got drunk and was like "I am going to make THE biggest pancake in history!" It's insane really. But for a cheat-day meal or a big celebration or event, it's a fun wacky dish.

They try to push these $13 drinks on you, but you can get them cheaper if you ask them to make them without the take-home glass.

The napkins are arranged in giant Xs on all the tables.

These biscuits are the size of a child's head and slathered in honey. So good.

This is the "Champagne Supernova"

Fried chicken benedict: sage fried chicken w/ fresh spinach, hardwood smoked bacon, market tomato, griddled mozzarella, chipotle cream and scrambled eggs.

Big-ass biscuit

Does this interior not look dull to you? Maybe it's done this way on purpose to put the emphasis on the food? But then, why is a giant red tractor parked in the lobby? That tractor leads you to believe the interior will be festive and fun. The tractor lies. The tractor liiiiiiies.
