In February we shared details on Jaguar's new dealership for the Millenia area of town. Now it looks like Audi will be joining it in the Conroy/Millenia area.
The April, 2013 Municipal Planning Board has a proposal for the property on the west side of I-4, south of Conroy (across Conroy from The Holy Land Experience). The property is currently zoned for a hotel and retail but the proposal calls for the zoning to be changed to allow for a 65,000sq ft Audi dealership.
The five acre property will feature the smaller dealership, a repair shop, and associated services.
This is just the first step in the long process of getting approval for the new dealership. The zoning change alone should take until at least June, then the permitting for the new dealership will begin. That is, if the zoning change is approved. Based on the staff report, it appears likely.
