Pierce The Veil is an American post-hardcore band from San Diego, California. The band is composed of lead singer Vic Fuentes, drummer Mike Fuentes, guitarist Tony Perry and bassist Jaime Preciado. The band released their third full-length studio album Collide with the Sky last year.

Pierce The Veil played a sold out show last Wednesday at the House of Blues. The show’s opening acts were You Me at Six and Mayday Parade. Both bands got the fans very excited and hyped up for the show’s final acts Pierce the Veil and All Time Low.

Pierce the Veil started off their set playing their song “May These Noises Startle You in Your Sleep Tonight” while a confetti canon blast off into the crowd. The audience yelled and clapped. The stage setup consisted of a glow in the dark spinning wheel with bright, neon stage lights and a glowing backdrop. During the show, frontman Vic Fuentes told the the audience that they were the best audience yet on tour and asked for the audience’s prayers for his older brother Frank who has cancer. The band performed for an hour and played songs that included “Like Bulletproof Love”,  “A Match Into Water”, and an acoustic version of “I'm Low on Gas and You Need a Jacket”. The band ended the show performing “King for a Day” and the audience formed a pit circle while a canon shot out the last round of confetti.

Pierce the Veil is currently on their Spring Fever 2013 tour with All Time Low, Mayday Parade, and You Me at Six until May 12 .
