Truffles Grill in Winter Park Village abruptly shut down last week. Scott Joseph was the first to report on the closure.
All signage for Truffles Grill has now been removed from the Winter Park Village location.
In his post, he states all of the Truffles Grill locations outside of the original Cafe in Hilton Head, S.C. have been closed. Ruby Tuesday waited till late Sunday, April 7, 2013 to inform management of the decision. Luckily each team member received two weeks pay.
Joseph explained that the chain had lofty goals but only three locations; the original, the one here, and another in Atlanta were ever opened.
Orlando Business Journal reports that Ruby Tuesday shuttered the brand due to the a renewed focus on the Ruby Tuesday brand. The OBJ speculated on what may fill the space, with a specific focus on gourmet burgers joints.
