WTF 7-11? Duct Taped Signs, Discolored Awnings All While Planning New Stores.

7-Eleven is the midst of expanding throughout the area.  Just in the downtown area alone we've seen new stores popping up over the past few months and more planned for the area.  A few weeks ago construction began on the latest location at the corner of Mills and Fern Creek.  Downtown another is being proposed for the corner of Rosalind and Central.  While it's great that we're getting so many new 24hr businesses in town I must question if these new 7-11s will stay as clean as they are on opening day.  Case in point: look at the state of this 7-11 found on the corner of Colonial and Magnolia.  The awnings are all discolored and the entire place just doesn't seem as bright and welcoming as it did a just a few months ago.

Over on Mills we find a 7-11 that literally has its sign duct taped together.

This is the first time we've wrote about how bad 7-11 seems to be getting. Back in November a bad experience with the brand new one in Downtown South caused us to question what 7-11's plans were now that Wawa is rapidly expanding all over the region.  So still we wonder; WTF 7-11?  Dear 7-11, You can do better!
