Show review: Scotty McCreery played at House of Blues on 5/24

American Idol winner Scotty McCreery (Twitter | Facebook) played a sold-out show at House of Blues on May 24th. Scotty McCreery is a country music singer from Garner, North Carolina. He won the tenth season of American Idol.

The show opened with a performance from Grey Warden band that got the crowd pumped up and excited for Scotty McCreery.

Scotty McCreery performed many songs including "Dirty Dishes", "See You Tonight", "I Love You This Big" and "The Trouble with Girls". McCreery worked the crowd and moved around the stage with a lot of life and energy. McCreery received a lot of cheers from the audience, especially from young ladies waving signs in the air.

In between songs, McCreery talked about the importance of family, faith and “seeing things from different points of view.” McCreery’s music about small town life went over well with the crowd.
 McCreery also introduced his band members and thanked Grey Warden band for an awesome opening performance.

After Scotty McCreery’s hour and a half performance, he thanked the crowd for an amazing night and said it was one of his best tour dates yet. McCreery promised he would return to Florida soon, wished everyone a safe trip home and thanked everyone for all the support they have given him.
