New documents show that Ciao Italia Ristorante, the famous four star
dining restaurant on Westwood Boulevard (across the SeaWorld Double Tree), will be
opening a location just up the street on I-Drive next to King’s Bowl in
the former Gooding’s plaza. Ciao has yet
to officially confirm the new I-Drive Live location.
With the Orlando Eye going in next door and with King’s Bowl directly
next to it, this location will be much more visible than the current one on
Westwood Blvd.
Major construction is
just beginning on the new strip mall location for Ciao Italia Ristorante, which has been in its
present location for 21 years. There’s
no word on if the new location will be a second restaurant or if the current location
will close when the new one opens. Construction on the new location should be finished by late 2013 to early 2014.
As you can see in the pictures below the new location has a bit of work to be done before it can officially open.
The family owned restaurant has been a favorite for locals and tourist alike since 1991.
