Cask & Larder launched their new lunch hours and menu Thursday July 11, 2013, 11am-3pm. I got an invite to try their new menu today. The rabbit meatloaf might seem like a heavy option for lunch, but it's not. I skipped the potatoes and was fine with it. I loved this dish. The peppery meatloaf was more meat than loaf. The tiny mushrooms were tucked underneath fried green beans. On top of the meatloaf was a pickled quails egg. If I could hug this dish without getting taters on my blouse, I'd do it.
