The Muppet Movie became an instant classic when it was released in 1979. Jim Henson's daughter, Heather Henson, is putting on two interactive (think Rocky Horror) screenings July 27, 2013, 3pm & 7pm, at the Garden Theater in Winter Garden. The 3pm screening will be hosted by choreographer Sunny Raskin. The 7pm screening will be hosted by Heather Henson.
Tickets are $10 and includes a goodie bag filled with twirl streamers, ice cream cone shooter, tiara, hand clappers, glow necklaces, bubble bottles, a butterfly fan, and more.
Expect dancing in the aisles, yelling famous lines and singing along with all the films classic songs and scenes.
Says Heather Henson, "Sing Alongs allow me to connect with the work of my father. I can work with my dad's material. I can put a new spin on it but it's still his stuff, intact. And it gives me an opportunity to watch them over and over again."
