Urban ReThink is adding something pretty cool to it's monthly Signature Series events - the Artist's Survival Guide. Each month a panel of "experts" or seasoned professionals from the Orlando art world, will sit on a panel and share their wisdom with the masses.
Each month will be patterned after specific chapters like this Wednesday's "Introduction to the Arts in Central Florida" or even something more practical like November's "Protect Yourself - How to Write a Contract" or February's "Taxes and Paying Yourself" (something I'm sure a lot of artists just play by ear).
At the end of a year's worth of programming, Urban ReThink (in partnership with their sister organization Burrow Press) will be publishing a physical guidebook to disperse across the region!
