Orlando Shuffle - Shuffleboard Event in October

With recent "shuffles" in Sanford and St Pete being extremely popular, it’s about time Orlando gets in on the shuffleboard renaissance.  Since 1913, shuffleboard has been a favorite pastime of Floridians. On October 5, 2013 we can all go and check out the fun game of yesteryear at the Beardall Senior Center (800 South Delaney Ave, just off of Orange south 408).
What better place to celebrate the 100th anniversary of this game than the former Delaney Elementary School, a facility almost a 100 years old itself.  The Orlando Shuffle is a free, family-friendly event that will take place from 7pm-9pm.  Make sure to get into the mood by wearing some awesome retro attire as well.

Kissimmee's former shuffle board courts, now sadly gone.
