The second installment of Taverna Opa Orlando’s summer wine-dinner series, Journey & Savor: A Taste of the Mediterranean, is Tuesday, August 20 at 6:30pm. The evening will commence with an introduction to Taverna Opa Orlando’s traditional Greek cuisine by Owner Katerina Coumbaros followed by a five-course dinner at 6:45 p.m. with wines from Greece provided by Boutari at $40 per person. The Taverna Opa Orlando team, alongside Boutari, will interact with guests, walking them through each course and educating them on the history, pairing choice and ingredient portfolio of each dish.
- FIRST COURSE: Roka paired with Domaine Matsa Malagouzia
- SECOND COURSE: Manouri Saganaki paired with Nemea
- THIRD COURSE: Lamb Spring Rolls paired with Grande Reserve Naoussa
- FOURTH COURSE: Metaxa Filet paired with Skalani
- FIFTH COURSE: Yogurt Bar paired with Vin Santo
