#2 Best College Bar in America: Knight Library



One of the most prominent businesses of The Plaza across from UCF was Knight Library. The closure and demo of the plaza meant Knight Library was forced to move from the location that over the last seven years had been one of UCF area’s top party locations. Many wondered if the club would continue being one of the area’s top bars once it moved.

The closure of The Plaza pushed Knight Library down the road to an even larger location. Taking residence in the former Houlihan’s (11448 University Boulevard), the new Knight Library brings class to the college bar.

USA Today and The Daily Meal have have published their list of the best college bars in America. Knight Library comes in at #2 with the publication mentioning the impressive size, number of bars, and entertainment options that Knight Library has.

“The Knight Library was originally tied with this college bar, but in the end, location was the deciding factor.” The first place bar only won due to the image of Orlando verses that of New Orleans.

Let’s hope that next year Orlando has even more of a showing on the list. With bars such as The Station already having impressive crowds this semester, it’s likely we will.
