We told you about Levy Restaurant's Truckeria Rolling Tacos parked in Downtown Disney and that more food trucks at Disney World might be coming to join it in something called "Food Truck Row." Those trucks have now been confirmed by Disney Parks Blog. They will park four food trucks in Downtown Disney with the following themes:
- “Enchanted Fare” will serve favorites from Disney Parks around the world; think Croque Monsieur fromMagic Kingdom Park, Glass Noodle Salad from Hong Kong Disneyland and (my favorite!) Hand-DippedCorn Dogs from Disneyland park.
- “The World Showcase of Flavors” is expected to feature items from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival such as Grass-Fed Beef Sliders, Pierogies with Kielbasa and Lobster Rolls.
- “Superstar Catering” will shine the spotlight on a wide array of meatball options
- “Namaste Café” plans to feature a mix of spices with dishes including Butter Chicken, Slow-Cooked Beef Short Ribs and Tandori Spiced Shrimp.
If you ask us, we can see them adding some dessert trucks and some drink/coffee trucks to the mix to give it a well-rounded feel. Just a guess, though.
Also, we hope *to the high heavens* that the tourist foodies who find these trucks also do some digging and discover the Orlando local food truck scene. We would hate for them to miss all the great local trucks we have in our city. 50 million every year coming to Orlando.. some of them may enjoy our local food trucks. Probably?
