You’re invited to celebrate with the HOPE CommUnity Center and ArtReach Orlando the unveiling of the "Hope Rising Mosaic".
Created as a cooperative social justice project between the Hope CommUnity and ArtReach Orlando the new interactive mosaic graces the entrance to the HOPE CommUnity Center which is dedicated to the empowerment of Central Florida’s immigrant and working poor communities.
Designed by artist Janis Nunez, and constructed by the HOPE community with many items of special significance and meaning, that were donated to the project. The mosaic is a living piece of art that tells the stories of the people of the Apopka community. The interactive nature of the mosaic will allow you to see, hear, and imagine what it is like for the participants to live, work, and be a part of Central Florida.
