Culture Pop Monthly Fun at Art & History Museums – Maitland

Art & History Museums – Maitland (231 Packwood Avenue, Maitland) has rebranded their monthly art event with a new name: Culture Pop. Along with the name change, they plan for the art to "pop" up all over their multi-building campus to compliment the interactive art happenings, live music, food & wine pairings, craft beer and something called "flash fiction." 

The next one is Friday, November 8, 2013 from 7-11:00pm.  At the Friday November 8th "Clothesline Show," art will be hung unframed from a clothesline, DJ Nigel will be spinning, the band will be the Hooba Hoobas, and the interactive art component will be guests making art on interior walls slated for renovation inside the Marvel Building .

  • Friday, December 13: Handmade Nation featuring the artisans of Hog Eat Hog
  • Friday, January 10: The Dapper Date: Celebrating the Art of Fashion
  • Friday, February 14: Wild at Heart featuring Danielle DeGuglimo and Katherine Bennett
  • Friday, March 14: Roll, Repeat featuring the art of printmaking with a steam roller print and Mama’s Sauce print projects
  • Friday, April 11: Photo Slam
