Epcot Croissant Doughnut aka Cronut a Flaky Sweet Dessert at Disney World

We told you last week that Epcot was doing their own Cronut, and here it is!

They call it a "Croissant Doughnut," charge $4.49 for it and sell it at the Refreshment Port, just inside the World Showcase.

Don't let the outside of the croissant doughnut scare you away when you see them on display at the Refreshment Port. The things look like an old hamburger buns stacked up above the fryer and stove like oven mitts.

This is a dessert perfect for sharing. Once everyone in your group fights over the top piece, the most sugar-covered, each person can pluck a flaky layer for themselves and snack at their leisure during their stroll. For us, it lasted a leisurely walk from Refreshment Port to that music stage just in front of Canada.

If you don't want to travel to Epcot to buy yourself a Cronut/Croissant Doughnut, grab yourself a 4Rivers Caramel Pumpkin Spice Cronut. And perhaps they will bring back the Peterbrooke Broissant in Winter Park one day. It's no longer available.
