The interior, which we have photos of below, is lovely. The banquette wall is made from 50 year old salvaged wood. The large dining table near the entrance was made by Gleman And Sons furniture makers in Oviedo. They take barns down along the east coast and make furniture from the wood.

The 42-seat restaurant "The Strand" at 807 North Mills Ave in the Mills50 District has a possible opening date sometime between January 4th and 11th 2014. We met the owners last week, a couple excited about bringing a casual eatery to the area.
The 42-seat restaurant "The Strand" at 807 North Mills Ave in the Mills50 District has a possible opening date sometime between January 4th and 11th 2014. We met the owners last week, a couple excited about bringing a casual eatery to the area.
Diners can expect classic American dishes, homemade soups and salads, fresh ingredients and local farm-to-table methods. Wine and beer will be available.
They will be open Tuesday thru Saturday for lunch and dinner hours.
