Sling Puns All Over the Crowd and Win Prizes

Punslingers (facebook) is a comedy game show where contestants come up with puns to win the favor of the audience through laughs (and groans). The winners walk away with the title of Champion Punslinger and a mystery prize. Lovers of poetry, wordplay, Shakespeare, and good-old-fashion 'dad jokes' will love it. Strap on your best western clothes and saddle up to be part of history at Orlando Punslingers.

  • This event is FREE! Stardust has all kinds of yummy drinks and food, feel free to come before, after, or during the event and enjoy.
  • Punslingers Kicks off at 7:30, but attendance is looking healthy and it's recommended you get there beforehand to get both a seat and (for those of you pun-testants) a spot. Sign-ups are at 7 and are open to anyone.
  • Western Attire is not mandatory but certainly encouraged! ::cough prize cough::
  • Pun-testants! Format is the following -- in Basic Rounds, you are given a topic (trains, for example) and have 90 seconds to come up with some crowd-pleasing puns. You'll have a white board to jot your ideas down, and after time is up, you'll step up to the mic and deliver to the crowd. Crowd favorites (based on applause) move forward to the next round! The non-Basic rounds... are Western Surprises
  • Lastly... WE'RE HAVING RAFFLES! Lots of fun items are being raffled so even if you're not competing, come join the fun and you may walk away with some goodies
