The homeowners of Baldwin Park might be getting more apartment-dwelling neighbors rather than homeowners if the developers of a 483 unit apartment project have their way. They want to construct the apartments on lakefront property in Baldwin Park, which was originally planned to house a condominium project with units priced from $500,000 to $3million. This same thing happened a few years ago when lakefront land originally designated for single family homes was covered in 4-story apartment buildings. Wednesday there's a residents meeting at 7pm at Glenridge Middle School about the issue. Source
