I work at CityArts and love it. It's a great place to check out local art and if you aren't aware, Orlando has some AMAZING artists. I love being surrounded by the art. This month's show is Boarded Up 3 and is now on display until 9/12. 140 artist and over 200 pieces on are up. Even being here at the gallery often, I didn't even know some of the stories behind some of the boards.

Trey Harris the curator of the exhibit also told me the story of "Cremains: Skateboard & Afterlife: Skateboard. He said the artist found examples of some of the art on the boards offensive so she burned her board and the cremains are on display along with a photo of the burning.

Boarded Up 3 will be on display at CityArts Factory until September 12th.
CityArts is open Tuesday- Saturday 11am-6pm
