PHANTASMAGORIA V

“Death Comes For All”

Phantasmagoria Orlando / John DiDonna Productions is proud to be presenting
PHANTASMAGORIA V - “Death Comes for All” - to celebrate the 2014 Halloween Season and its fifth amazing year in Central Florida!

With the ongoing critically acclaimed success of the past four years’ installments - as well as special events and appearances around the Central Florida area throughout the year – our brand new production PHANTASMAGORIA V “Death Comes For All” thunders on to the Mandell Stage at the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center with all new stories, and all new large scale puppetry - interacting with live actors, “Phantastical” dance, live music, explosive stage combat and haunting storytelling!

Join Phantasmagoria’s evocative troupe of storytellers, dancers, and chorus as they embark on their most dangerous chapter yet – and journey through tales of terror from diverse authors such as Edgar Allan Poe’s “Pit and the Pendulum”, Lewis Carroll’s “Hunting of the Snark”, Charles Dickens (as part of the “What the Dickens” year) “Captain Murderer” and many others including horrific folk tales, legends and myths from around the world!

The Phantasmagoria troupe welcomes to the stage our our tale weaving Storytellers Roman (Stephen Lima), Alice (Samantha O’Hare), Leon (Joseph Josh Geoghagan), Isabella (Angela Trapp), Rowan (Jill Lockhart) and Byron (John DiDonna), our chorus of players Stefan (Stephen Lee Marion) Mathias (Matthew Carroll), Seraphina (Serafina Schiano), Mercury (Kaitlin Elizabeth Baxter), Allegra (Mary Spurlock), Locke (Jean Marie Glazer), and Raven (Kaylie Ringer) and of course our dangerous yet delightful dancers Ilina (Mila Makarova), Pandora (Gina Makarova), Cimorene (Dion Leonhard), and newcomers Ankha (Rachelle Taylor Rees) and Anastasia (Darci Ricciardi). Returning this year are also Bill Warriner and Jeremy Wood as Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, and a new player, a mysterious “No One” played by JD Rees.

Under the creation and direction of John DiDonna, with co direction by Seth Kubersky, Alea Figueroa and Kevin G. Becker, the choreography of Mila Makarova and Dion Leonhard, fight direction by Bill Warriner, and all new original music and soundscapes by Les Caulfield, lighting by Hatem Habashi, costumes by Shelly Henriott (with original designs by Jennifer Bonner) projections by Dana Mott, with photography from Kristen Wheeler and graphic design by Ryan McKenzie, this new installment presents us with a truly “Phantasmagorical” way to spend a macabre, whimsical, and terrifying Halloween!

Tickets are $15 - $20 (with VIP tickets also available at an additional cost – to include extras limited only to the VIP ticket holders INCLUDING a post show performance and photo ops) and can be reserved by calling 407.328.9005 (will call cash at door) or credit card orders online at www.OrlandoAtPlay.com starting the beginning of October.
