ORLANDO: Don't Miss- The Shallow Grave

One of Central Florida's BEST haunts, The Shallow Grave, is back this year! Yes, you heard me, one of Florida's BEST
My husband, Travis and 2 my Halloween loving friends, Alicia and Harriett, loaded into our car and drove a bit over an hour to get to The Shallow Grave. WORTH EVER MINUTE OF THE DRIVE!! Had we gotten there earlier we all agreed we would have bought a second set of tickets and done BOTH haunts again!
My tip for you, grab a friend or 2 and make it a night! Grab dinner, make the drive and enjoy the haunt! We totally would have stopped into the Beverage Castle, a drive through convenience store had it been open!

You say, you went last year? So did we! The Shallow Grave team has amped up their original haunt Haunted Hills! New stuff!! All to scare you! And scare you...it will!

What is Haunted Hills about?
from their website:
....Thaddeus turned from “Caretaker” to “Butcher” in order to keep his family fed, With this; all of Thaddeus’ problems seemed to go away, no one was the wiser. Thaddeus would load the coffins with bricks so he could load his belly with the victims. Oh sure the families were in the dark over just how their loved ones were being “cared” for, but the souls of the fallen…..they knew all too well what Thaddeus was up to. Before long the rage of the dead was overwhelming and they vowed revenge against Thaddeus and his family for their cannibalistic ways. The dead that were lucky enough to rest in peace refused to do so, and broke free from there eternal slumber to exact their revenge. With hard times receding and things returning to normal, less plague, less famine, things were tough again for old Thaddeus. By this time his thirst for flesh has driven the old man insane, with fewer dead to chop up and devour he turned to the living to feed his lust for flesh. Thaddeus is hunted by the hordes of the undead relentlessly but to date the old man has been able to hold his own against the rotting minions. Sure he has some scars to show for his efforts, but nothing like the scars he has on his sanity. Stay clear of the old house next to the cemetery if you wish to “rest in peace” and not pieces for Thaddeus will not rest until you do!

Now, just the one haunt is well worth the drive out to Winter Haven but this Halloween season, The Shallow Grave ADHD! A second chance for you to scream your head off! An all new haunt that leads you through the nightmares of some of Thaddeus' victims.

(from their website)
Lose yourself in the tormented minds of the few that faced Thaddeus and were fortunate enough to evade certain death from the blood thirsty Van Buren family. But are they truly free from Thaddeus and the agony he bestows upon his victims? The dread, the pain and suffering, escaping to live another day also gives way to the opportunity to die a little each day as your sanity rots from the dark encounter with the very man that feels his survival is directly attached to your demise. Suffer through the very same nightmares that the so called lucky few pray for the sandman to keep at bay for there is no true escape from Thaddeus, once he is in your life he is there until he can steal it from you.

And have I mentioned the zombies, ghosts and ghouls can touch you?? That's right, that hand that grazes your thigh, touches your hair might not be your GF/BF getting fresh! CREEPY I tell you! I hated it! Let's face it, I loved it!!

So what I'm trying to say... do yourself a Halloween favor and make your way to The Shallow Grave! If you are able to make it on a Thursday, The Shallow Grave gives a percentage to local and national charities. Thursday nights the 2 haunts are open from 7pm- 10pm; Fridays and Saturdays till 11pm.
