The Thornton Park District will host its first annual 12 Bars of Christmas December 1-5, a holiday pub crawl culminating in the lighting of the Christmas Tree at Lake Eola Park and an after party at The Abbey on Friday, December 5.
Each night from 5-9 pm, 12 participating bars/restaurants in the Thornton Park District will offer pub crawlers holiday drink specials, as well as one signature “holiday cocktail.” Participants are encouraged to pick up a 12 Bars of Christmas promotional card at any of the participating venues, and get a stamp from each of the 12 bars to win prizes. Each participant who gets a stamp at all 12 locations will receive a free drink coupon valid at any of the participating venues, and will also be entered to win additional prizes. Participants are also encouraged to vote for their favorite holiday drink on www.12BarsOrlando.com.
